About our pub

The Chequers is a 15th Century traditional award winning village inn. Situated in the heart of the hopping countryside The Chequers offers good value for money traditional food, including Sunday Roasts and excellent real ales. Open log fire in winter and large garden in summer. Every Thursday is Sausage Thursday with a selection of 6 different sausages to chose from, in addition to the normal menu being available. A country village pub with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
